Perfect setting for a proposal!

Lori was recommended to us by a coworker in Chicago and we are so glad we decided to call her! I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and wanted a nice relaxing day so that I could pick the perfect moment. We were able to enjoy the day while Lori took us to some fantastic wineries! An amazing day with great wine, food, and scenery! Capped off with the proposal! And she said yes, how could she not! ;) Thank you Lori, you are a true professional and your knowledge and passion for wine country definitely shows!  A perfect day! 

Lori is A++! She’s a wonderful driver through the busy and sometimes narrow paths of wine country, but that’s only the start of her talents. She is the definition of service and will plan every detail of a truly custom visit through Sonoma or Napa Valley. She listens to your interests, the pace at which you want to visit the wineries, and makes suggestions for other activities in the area. She takes care of all the reservations and personally knows many of the owners. There’s no rush through an itinerary, but she lets you guide how you want to spend your time, being flexible as needed. Lori has endless information and stories to tell. We had a memorable, special day with experiences we could not have had on our own. We hope to return in the fall.  Lori makes everything perfect 

Never having been to wine country before, we entrusted Lori to pretty much do everything. She exceeding every expectation we had. In addition to driving, she handled all the logistics - scheduling four tastings and arranging our lunch. To be honest, we didn't give her much direction ahead of time because we really didn't know what we were doing, but she totally nailed it. The wineries she picked were absolutely perfect for us.
The visits to the wineries were amazing, but what made the day perfect was Lori. We had as much fun with her as we did tasting wine. She has extensive knowledge of the region, the wineries and the people. She is a total professional, yet very laid back and fun. Lori is one of those unique people who inherently understands how to treat people and make them feel comfortable. She sincerely cares about you having a good time, and does everything she can to make sure you do.
It probably sounds cheesy, but we really feel like we made a new friend in Lori. We were kind of bummed when she dropped us off, but we will definitely tour wine country with Lori again. Matt R

She's not only incredibly talented, connected and professional, she's one of the most friendly, kind and lovely people I've ever met. For anyone new to wine country like my husband and I, it can be incredibly overwhelming. She took time to get to know us to really help shape the best itinerary.  Wine Tour Done Right

I found Lori out of sheer luck at first since I didn't know where to start looking as I am new to the Bay area; boy did I luck out! I will only tour with her in the future! Last March my boyfriend and I did a loop from Sonoma to Healdsberg and back, all customized by Lori based on our location, taste, and visual preferences. We had the BEST time and she truly made our trip memorable, so much so that I brought my girlfriends back for round two! Lori is passionate about creating a truly special experience for people.  THE.BEST.WINE TOUR...PERIOD.

We contacted Lori ahead of our trip to Sonoma. We each had done tours several years before, but none were as comfortable, well-planned, and educational as Lori's Wine Country Car and Driver. Lori shared with us that she grew up and has lived in the region for a good portion of her life. It certainly shows in her knowledge about wine, the various vineyards, and the relationships she has with the smaller, family-owned teams. We shared with her our love for Sav Blanc, Pinot, and Chardonnay and she designed a terrific full day tour through the Russian River Valley introducing us to wines/vineyards we had never heard of . . . two of which we absolutely fell in love with. I highly recommend contacting her ahead of your trip (the earlier the better) and let her assist you in developing a personalized itinerary. Along the way, she will share stories and insightful knowledge that will help you not only enjoy your visit but walk away better educated and appreciative of the work and passion that goes into wine making!
